Not only did I buy my first home with her at a killer deal, but also purchased an investment property of where I received over 28% returns within 100 days!! She helped coordinate the contractors needed to finish the home and was always there to identify the “best” renovations that would attract buyers. We received a total of 3 offers within just a few short weeks of going on the market and honestly got me a price I never thought possible. After moving out of State, I contacted Winter Baserva regarding the sale of my home in Johns Creek, GA, which I had been renting for about a year prior. I did a search for realtors in the N. Georgia area on Zillow, and found her to already be highly recommended. Upon contacting Winter about the sale of my home, I found her to be very knowledgeable about the market in Alpharetta / Johns Creek, and we discussed relevant pros and cons to listing the property at that time.
Prior to engaging her as my agent, she viewed the property and recommended that I do a cost-effective kitchen remodel, which she facilitated with a local contractor, resulting in the installation of granite counter tops, a travertine backsplash, and wood flooring, which greatly enhanced the kitchen’s appearance. She recommended that I take this action to improve the salability and market value of the property. All of this was accomplished within ten days after the property had been vacated by the prior tenant. She also staged the home for me, with her own personal items.
Winter then did an incredible job of marketing the property, through contact with other local agents and multiple listing services. As a result, she obtained eight offers on the property within the first two weeks that it was listed, and negotiated three offers at once, to obtain a final offer at precisely the asking price that I was seeking. It is clear to me, as a result of following her recommendations on the remodel the kitchen, and other minor upgrades elsewhere, that I netted more on the sale then I would have otherwise.
Throughout this process, she was very communicative, providing me with very regular updates, so that I never felt out of the loop, while nevertheless in another state, and she obtained a third party to sign closing documents on my behalf under a power of attorney, so that I would not need to fly back to Atlanta for the closing. In summary, I found Winter to be very professional, open, and enjoyable to work with throughout the process, and have recommended her highly to friends in the Atlanta area as well.
